Maximo Mulenga is a strategic leader in banking and finance with over 20 years of experience in financial management, auditing, and corporate governance. He joined AB Bank Zambia in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in 2022.
His career spans roles in leading financial institutions, including Citibank Zambia, where he served as Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary, and Zambia & East Africa Cluster Citibank, where he was CFO and Regulatory Reporting Head for Sub-Saharan Africa.
Maximo is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and an Honorary Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Banking and Financial Services (ZIBFS). He holds a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University.
His career spans roles in leading financial institutions, including Citibank Zambia, where he served as Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary, and Zambia & East Africa Cluster Citibank, where he was CFO and Regulatory Reporting Head for Sub-Saharan Africa.

He joined AB Bank in 2022, bringing expertise in driving innovation and operational excellence.

Moses Moyo is an accomplished professional in finance and administration, with over 10 years of experience.
As the Head of Administration at AB Bank Zambia since 2019, he continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening the bank's administrative functions, bringing a wealth of expertise in financial control, operational efficiency, and organizational management. He joined the bank in 2015, previously serving as Financial Controller and Administration Manager. Moses holds a Bachelor of Accountancy, and is a ZICA Licentiate, driven by efficiency, accountability, fostering seamless operational environments.

Linda Banda is an experienced audit and finance professional with a strong background in internal controls and risk management. She currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit at AB Bank Zambia, a role she assumed in 2021.
Linda joined AB Bank Zambia in 2011, as a Back Office Credit Officer before transitioning to Junior Internal Auditor, where she honed her skills in compliance, risk assessment, and process improvement. She holds a BA Hons in Business Studies and is a Chartered Accountant under ZICA. Linda is committed to upholding transparency, accountability, and sound governance practices in driving the bank's internal audit function.

Charity Chikoti is the Head of Micro at AB Bank Zambia, bringing over 10 years of experience in banking. She joined the bank in 2013 as a Trainee SME Officer and has since held various leadership roles, including Credit Supervisor, Branch Manager, and Contact Centre Manager.
A key contributor to the banks SME Department, she has honed her skills in credit risk management, and credit analysis.
Charity holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kampala International University, and is dedicated to driving the growth of the Micro Lending Business.

Chabala Lwando is a skilled management professional with extensive expertise in financial services and enterprise risk management. He currently serves as the Head of Risk at AB Bank Zambia, a position he assumed in 2025.
Since joining AB Bank in 2022, he continues to play a critical role in developing and implementing risk management frameworks that support the bank’s strategic objectives.
Chabala holds an MBA in Finance, a Post Graduate Certificate in Risk Management, and an International Certificate in Banking Risk and Regulation. He is passionate about building resilient risk frameworks that promote sustainable business growth.

Mary T. Kayofi is a dedicated legal and compliance professional with over 10 years of experience in the banking and legal sectors. She currently serves as the Manager - Legal and Company Secretary at AB Bank Zambia, a role she assumed in 2023.
Mary joined AB Bank in 2012 as a Legal Credit Officer and has since held various roles, including Recovery Unit Coordinator, Legal Officer, and Legal Counsel.
She holds an LLB, is an Advocate of the High Court. Mary's expertise spans across corporate governance, legal advisory, and regulatory compliance, with a passion for promoting ethical business practices and sound governance.

Thomas Engelhardt is Access Holding's Chief Executive Officer. He joined LFS Advisory GmbH in 1996 and became a partner in 2004. He has served on the Access Holding management board since its foundation in 2006. He was also the first General Manager of Access Bank Azerbaijan and held other managerial positions in Berlin and abroad. Mr. Engelhardt holds an M.Sc. degree in Economics, and speaks German, English, Russian and Serbo-Croatian. He was appointed to the Board of AB Bank Zambia in 2019.

Rambert Namy is a financial services and digital payments expert with over 20 years of experience in mobile financial services, fintech, and financial inclusion. He played a key role in launching Orange Money for the Orange Group in 2006 and has since been instrumental in developing and managing mobile money services across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
Currently, he serves as a board member, advisor, and investor in multiple fintech startups, specializing in digital credit for SMEs to drive financial inclusion and economic development.
Rambert also represents AFD (Agence Française de Développement) in strategic investments, including AB Bank Zambia and Proximity Finance Myanmar. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from ESLSCA Paris.
Currently, he serves as a board member, advisor, and investor in multiple fintech startups, specializing in digital credit for SMEs to drive financial inclusion and economic development.

Her career includes extensive experience at Chibesakunda and Company, where she rose through the ranks from Associate to Senior Associate, Associate Partner and later to Partner. She also served as the Human Resource and Legal Manager at Vivo Energy Zambia Limited, where she managed both legal and HR functions.
Chishimba holds a Bachelor of Law and a Master of Law from the University of Leeds and is a graduate of the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (LPQE). She was appointed to the Board of AB Bank Zambia on 10th February 2021.

He currently serves as Senior Digital Finance Expert & Fintech Manager at Access Holding, where he supports digital financial initiatives across the group.
His career includes leadership roles such as Deputy CEO and Chief Credit Officer at AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria, Branch Network Manager at Access Banque Madagascar, and Controlling & Investment Officer at Access Holding Germany. He also served as a Non-Executive Director at AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria and Access Bank Liberia.
Marcus holds a Master’s in Economics from Goethe University (Germany) and a Professional Certificate in Digital Transformation from MIT Professional Education. He was appointed to the Board of AB Bank Zambia in 2024.

Dr. Leonard Kalinde is a legal expert in banking, finance, and international economic law, with over two decades of experience in corporate law, financial regulation, and arbitration. He has served in key leadership roles, including Director of Legal Services and General Counsel at the Bank of Zambia.
His academic credentials include a PhD in International Economic Law from the University of Kent, a Master of International Business Law from the American University, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Zambia. He is also a Chartered Arbitrator and has extensive experience in legislative drafting and public prosecution.
Dr. Kalinde is the Managing Partner at Leonard Kalinde Legal Practitioners and has previously lectured at the University of Zambia. He was appointed to the Board of AB Bank Zambia on 9th July, 2024.
His academic credentials include a PhD in International Economic Law from the University of Kent, a Master of International Business Law from the American University, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Zambia. He is also a Chartered Arbitrator and has extensive experience in legislative drafting and public prosecution.
